"A well chosen lingerie is a guarantee of comfort and confidence. It helps to maintain,
over the years, the beauty capital of his chest."
70% of women don't know their bra and cup size. But a correctly chosen bra will keep you feeling comfortable all day long. To enhance and care for your bust, visit a lingerie boutique or a department store to be measured (see the list of our partner boutiques).
Bust shapes naturally vary from woman to woman: some may be pear shaped, others apple shaped, etc. Whatever your shape, there is a bra that is right for you.
Breasts are three-dimensional organs: the size, depth and volume of your breast is unique to you. A comfortable bra is most of all a bra whose shoulder straps, underwire, lining and cups stay perfectly in place, supporting the breast without digging into your skin. Only a high-quality bra can enhance the beauty of your bust.
If it is not adjusted properly or poorly positioned, your bra will be ineffective and uncomfortable. How should you wear it properly? The underwire must not overlap the breast. Your bra must be positioned horizontally at the back. Not too tight, not too loose. The shoulder straps must be properly adjusted for support and comfort.
When your bra fits properly, you forget you have it on. A beautiful bust will help you feel great and improve your self-confidence. Looking for support? Choose a 3-section or full-cup bra. Looking for unparalleled invisibility? A contour style is just what you need. And if you are looking to create volume, 3 key terms: balconette, demi-cup and push-up. See our shape guide
Poorly fitting straps can harm your shoulders. Adjust your shoulder straps properly and make sure the width is appropriate for your bust size to prevent painful, red marks. The straps should rest on your shoulder without digging in.
Your breasts are essentially made of up fatty tissue and vessels. There are no muscles within the breast. Your breasts are supported only by skin, and skin naturally loses its elasticity over time. To minimise drooping and maintain a beautiful figure, it is essential to provide proper support for your breasts from an early age. Here are a few tips for daily care: -Firm up breast tissue and stimulate blood flow with a stream of cold water, in the shower, for example. - Maintain good posture - Drink plenty of liquids (the secret to beautiful skin!) - Avoid putting pressure on your chest (by sleeping on your stomach, crossing your arms under your bust, etc.)
Breast size can vary throughout a woman's life, depending on a multitude of factors such as hormonal changes (pregnancy, menopause, the ovulation cycle, etc.) as well as changes in weight and age. Whatever the cause, a properly fitting bra at each stage of her life can help a woman manage these changes in breast size.
Support is even more critical for women with fuller figures. For proper support, choose the right material, the right shoulder strap width, the right construction (a 3-section bra to distribute the weight across the entire bra and not just in front). But good support does not mean sacrificing style. Take a look at the Maison Lejaby Elixir collection for fuller figures.
A bra is made of noble and delicate materials (lace, silk, cotton, etc.) and so you must take good care of it to preserve its effectiveness and appearance and to keep it as long as possible. Here are some tips: Wash by hand, as stated on our labels: Separate colours. Use lukewarm water (30°C) and "Savon de Marseille" or a mild detergent. Always rinse after washing. Wring out gently and dry flat. If you must use a washing machine: Use a mild detergent at a maximum temperature of 40°C. To prevent damage, place your lingerie in a net bag or a pillowcase. Do not tumble dry: this will ruin the elasticity of your underwear and cause it to shrink, or will cause padded bras to flatten.
